Zero Saints
Zero Saints is a small Shopify studio run by Kimmy and Jamie.
We sit somewhere between working with a freelancer and hiring an agency. You still get design and development across the whole store, but without layers of people, handovers or account management.
The work is design-led, but never just about how something looks. We care about how the store works, how products are organised, how people move through it, and whether every part of it feels considered.
We work remotely, take on one project at a time, and are drawn to independent brands with real values, especially around animals, ethics and sustainability. Our two rescue cats, Cato and Macro 🐾 are part of the studio too.

Philosophy
Designed around how people shop
A Shopify store has to do more than look good. We think about the theme choice, navigation, products, content and mobile together, because they all affect how someone finds what they need and moves through the store. That means choosing a theme that supports what the store needs, cutting unnecessary clicks, and treating mobile as its own layout rather than a smaller version of desktop. The aim is simple: make the store feel like the brand, make the products easy to understand, and make shopping straightforward.

Kimmy
Designer
I’ve spent most of my life around art in one form or another — working in galleries, restoring books during an internship in Florence, studying photography, shooting film from a young age, disappearing into darkrooms, and eventually finding my way into design.
I’m drawn to strong structure, editorial layouts and deliberate typography. I like creating a distinct visual world for each project, whether it’s restrained or more expressive, without chasing whatever happens to be trending.
I love old photographs, books, objects with history, anime ( ★ Frieren ★), cats, music and anything that feels a little bit considered and a little bit odd.
I’m also studying data analytics, because apparently the part of my brain that loves composition and visual order also really likes patterns, information and figuring things out.
I’m curious, particular and probably incapable of leaving something alone when I know it could be better.

Jamie
Developer
My background is in music, but I’d wanted to learn to code for years. Development ended up becoming another thing I taught myself, which is pretty much how I’ve learned most of what I know — by getting interested in something, pulling it apart and figuring out how it works.
That carries into pretty much everything I’m into. I play guitar, spend a lot of time around motorcycles, shoot photography and video, and I’m usually tinkering with some piece of tech or working on something that probably didn’t need taking apart in the first place.
At Zero Saints, I handle development, code, apps and integrations, and I built the site you’re on now. I’m the person who will happily read documentation for fun, then spend far too long figuring out the cleanest way to make something work.
I’m practical, curious and probably happiest when there’s something to build, fix or figure out.
